My name is Brittney Rupert, and here is a brief summary of my life so far: I grew up in Justin, TX (population 3,500), graduated from Northwest High School, and attended Hardin-Simmons University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. Jason and I met during our time at HSU, and we were married in June 2007. We lived in Galveston for 4 years, during which Brooke and Luke were born 17 months apart. Having outgrown our quaint rent house, we made the decision to purchase a piece of land in Dickinson and build our current home.
At 27 years old, I “never thought I’d be here”…and when I say that I mean that I have been blessed beyond measure. God has given us a beautiful loving family, caring friends and neighbors, and jobs that we can’t wait to get out of bed for. That being said, in no way was I prepared to face the difficulties, challenges, and pitfalls of life (I’m sure there will be many more to come), but it is my hope for those that read this blog to find comfort and relief in the fact that they are not alone.
